Foraging for some Plant Friends

I go to a favorite spot to find some blueberries, sweet fern, and wintergreen. These are all plants that like to hang out together and that I have learned to value and respect more and more over the years. It started with the berries, because they’re yummy, and then I got to know wintergreen for it’s minty flavor. I got to know sweet fern through my sense of smell–it smells amazing. Turns out it makes a great tea and can help out with digestive issues and bug bites!
