Bug Bite Balm

Description

Sweet fern is a plant with a very fragrant smell that grows in sandy, nutrient-poor soil. I harvest this plant from the pine barrens of northeastern Wisconsin. It has traditionally been used to repel bugs and to treat bug bites. I paired it with plantain, which is a common weed in your lawn that has powerful anti-inflammatory properties. I added rosemary and mint essential oils for additional healing power!
