First Aid Salve

Description

My first aid salve is made with wild-harvested plantain and yarrow, and calendula flowers grown in my garden, infused in coconut and olive oils with beeswax. Yarrow is found around the world and known by many different cultures as “warrior plant” for its ability to stop bleeding and reduce inflammation. Plantain is a plant found in most people’s lawns, that is also healing to irritated skin and bug bites. Calendula’s anti-microbial and antiseptic properties also make it beneficial for healing wounds.
